Hello all, I hope you’ve all had a lovely and productive day. All day while making curtains I’ve been thinking about what I was going to make for Jill’s challenge this week. It took me ages to come up with something when really the obvious was staring me right in the face! So…..I sent Hoobie down the beach with the dog to get supplies and I came up with this….
This shaker card features genuine Isle of Wight sand!! The frame is made from a cardboard box which I distressed and painted to give the feel of ageing beach huts. The flags and bunting were made from the Docrafts “All Aboard” craft tape. I’ve been finding it difficult to find a use for this range ( been too obsessed with Gorjuss!) so really pleased I found a use for it. The cheeky elements on the right hand corner are also from this range. The plain paper and lettering are from the cute Kraft Notes Forever Friends range. I’m loving the Michael Powell beach hut stamp, it’s so beautiful and I think I will be making lots more creations with this, aswell as with the big bag of sand I have left!
Happy Krafti time!
