Hello all, I can’t say as I’m that chuffed that Monday has come around so soon but hey, at least it’s #docraftsmonday ! Before I go off to work I thought I would share another recent demo make using the fabulous new XCut Build – a – Scene dies..
I’m loving these fab new dies and once you get the hang of them you can achieve great results very quickly. I find the best way is to cut my chosen papers 5 x 7″ to start and die cut the top layer. I then position the next layer underneath, place the corresponding die on top and when I’m happy with the position use a piece of craft tape to hold it in place before die cutting.
I also tend to stick each layer down as I go along to avoid confusion later. There are illustrations on the front of the packets to help you build the scene up in the right order so it’s very straightforward.
I’ve used foam pads to add depth to my layers but you could just glue them down if you prefer a flatter card. Instead of using the figures came came in this die pack I couldn’t resist adding a small Gorjuss figure instead and some lovely blingy dome stickers. I hope you like it!
Have a great day!
